Love or a deal?

Love, by definition, is always unconditional. Anything else is just a deal.

What do I mean? If someone tells you they can't or won't love you because you won't do what they want you to, that is not love. It is "let's make a deal" - you do what I want then I will love you. Uh, no they won't. That's not love.

Love is a choice on the part of the giver. It is saying, I choose to love you regardless of everything. I can also choose not to love you, but it is not dependent on you doing what I want you to.
