Dear Friends,

When I was a young girl I had several pen pals whom I had contacted through a magazine my mother subscribed to. I wrote letters to these girls in faraway places like Idaho and Colorado with a certain regularity dictated by how interesting or busy my own life was, and usually began each letter with, "Sorry I haven't written for so long."

That's how I feel today as I sit down to write to you again. I'm sorry I haven't written for so long, because there really has been a lot of excitement happening here, and I've been pretty darn busy, too. But I'm sorry I haven't written because I love to write, and when I don't get to for a while because of other obligations, I miss this source of enjoyment in my life. Not only that, but I feel like I'm writing to my pen pals, my girlfriends, and my favourite people, so when I don't do it for a while, I feel out of touch with you.

Well girls, my life now has whole a new look. I've redesigned parts of my website and my business to reflect everything I do and after much mulling, gazing out of windows, pondering, and occasionally even fussing, I have found a way to sum up what I'm all about in one little phrase.

Because I'm an artist I wanted to convey that art is part of life, and that we can live our lives as though they are art. The same applies to love. I believe that love is the ‘bottom line' of what life is about and living with love as a motivator is definitely an art.

Lusciousness portrays the abundance and fullness that is available to all of us if we choose to reach out and accept it. Lusciousness is also about fun, laughter, happiness and beauty. A life of love and lusciousness in inclusive and joyful. My aim is for all of my art, designs and writings to reflect the art of life, love and lusciousness.
